A Re-Introduction And Warm Welcome to New Subscribers. The MindFull Parent: A Journey of Healing and Growth.

Join me, Michelle, as I share my story and support your journey of self-discovery and healing. Together, we'll rise above generational trauma and find our true purpose.

Hello MindFull Readers,

I’m thrilled to welcome all our new subscribers! I’m Michelle, and I want to take a moment to reintroduce myself and share a bit of my story with you.

I was born in Singapore but spent my formative years in The Netherlands. When I was about to turn 18, my family decided to return to Singapore. Life in The Netherlands during the late 80s all the way up to the early 00s was tough. As a minority, I faced relentless bullying, which further diminished my already introverted personality. At home, things weren’t any easier; my parents were almost always fighting, both verbally and physically. I often found myself playing the role of ‘mini mother’ to my two younger brothers, caught between our parents' conflicts.

Here are some of the major curveballs life has thrown my way:

  • 3 painful divorces and their aftermath

  • Being forced into adulthood throughout my childhood

  • 20 years of family trauma

  • 14 years of childhood bullying

  • 8 different homes

  • 2 marriages

  • 3 wonderful children

  • 8 years of coaching experience

  • Struggling with Post-Partum Depression and PTSD

  • 4 years dedicated to healing and growing

  • Navigating a blended family

While this isn’t the exact sequence of events, these experiences have shaped who I am today. They are part of why I started this newsletter – to share my stories and connect with those of you who might relate on some level. If any of these points resonate with you, know that you’re not alone.

Come let’s have some coffee or tea! You’re not alone and I am here to support you.

Over the past two decades, I’ve fought hard to rebuild myself. This journey has been painful, raw, and full of emotional turmoil. A friend once asked me, “Michelle, did you have to go through all those painful experiences just to become a good person?” That question made me reflect deeply. I decided to become a Reparenting Life Coach to support others on their healing journeys, helping them rise above generational trauma and inner child wounds. My mission is to make your journey better and less painful, and to remind you that you can be in a safe space.

Today, I am surrounded by the people who love me most, and they give me the strength to continue growing. Let me share some of that strength with you as you reach for your full potential.

I’m Michelle, a Reparenting Life Coach and Founder of The MindFull Parent. I’m here to help you find purpose, guide you on a journey of self-discovery, and support your inner child healing.
